This is undoubtedly one of the most prestigious theatres in Poland. For 250 years it has presented the most glorious performances and served as an anchor for Polish culture and national identity. The theatre was founded by king Stanisław August Poniatowski. Wojciech Bogusławski, named “the father of Polish theatre”, played crucial role in the early development of the theatre. It was an honour to cooperate with the theatre for several times.

One of the important components of the electro-acoustic scheme of the Wojciech Bogusławski stage is a front-of-house sound reinforcement system based on d&b audiotechnik Qi devices and Audio-Technica 5000 wireless microphones. Recently we have exchanged theatre’s stage management system and intercom system. This project was a great challenge, as the system links together all of the four stages located in two separate buildings. Moreover, it was crucial to integrate the new system with existing public adress system, end-of-intermission calls, cue lights and internal television system, without interfering historic interior of the theatre. The implemented digital system is based on two Delec Oratis matrix frames and two Biamp Audia digital signal processors installed in two amplification rooms and integrated with optical fibre system. The system comprises 26 intercom panels and 27 party line stations. It is a powerful solution with enormous configuration possibilities. Thus, it will meet the theatre’s needs for many years.
