Modernisation of broadcasting studios

Radio Katowice is the regional public radio station in Poland, covering about 5 million listeners. Station’s technical solutions enable quick changes of programme’s formula and adjusting it to the needs of current events in the region. Implementation and adaptation of DHD RM4200 network technology to individual requirements of Radio Katowice turned out to be a great success.

Konsbud Audio equipped two main broadcasting studios and the switching room. It was the first installation in Poland that utilised optical fibre technology for global system functions. Over the years, Konsbud Audio has delivered to Radio Katowice a lot of equipment, including Genelec reference monitors, Audio-Technica headphones and microphones, Nagra recorders, and Avid Pro Tools|HD audio recording and editing system.
