Radio Kielce S.A.

The Polish Radio’s division in Kielce has been operating since 1952. It has commenced broadcasting as a Polish Radio’s subsidiary in Kielce. In the following decades, the auditions were getting longer and more frequent. Since 1993 the station is on-air 24 hours a day.

In the beginning of the 90’s, the Radio adopted to the process of technological evolution and implemented a digital editing system of audio materials. Reporters have begun to record audio with digital sound recorders. In 2012 Radio Kielce implemented the digital audio broadcasting system DAB+.

In order to maintain a tradition of being up-to-date with the latest technological solutions, Radio Kielce has decided to modernise the broadcasting complexes with the assistance of Konsbud Audio. In 2013 control room and RS2 studio have been modernised and equipped with DHD modular mixing console, wiring of the broadcasting complex has been upgraded and part of central machine room rebuilt. In the following year, four DHD 52/MX mixing consoles have been purchased and installed for the purpose of reconstruction of switching room and RS3, RS4 and RS5 broadcasting complexes.
