Digital phonic system

Konsbud Audio has accomplished this project within a few weeks time and we has managed to adjust the most modern technology to the traditional programme needs of the radio station. We have based the project on well-tried technological solutions, allowing the station to derive substantial benefit from the DHD RM52 system. This extraordinary setup consists of centralized devices that can be operated from numerous locations. Broadcast studio, electro-acoustic switching room, newsroom, recording studio, and many other locations are within the reach of the system. The work of journalists and sound operators has been streamlined by intercom system that is an essential part of the homogenous system.

In the second phase of the project (2012), the existing system of Radio Białystok was expanded with DHD mixing console and a 52/XC unit. This solution has greatly increased flexibility of the main broadcasting studio and allowed to integrate the existing system with the production studio that can also operate as backup for broadcast. The switching room has been equipped with dedicated touch control panel for signal monitoring and central system data management. Between 2013 and 2014, the system’s touch control panels of both broadcasting and supplementary studio were upgraded with new features. Motorised faders were added to the console, so that larger number of tracks can be managed by layering.
