The Radio Station in Olsztyn was instituted in 1952 as a subsidiary of the Polish Radio. After the political transformation, new players entered the local market but Radio Olsztyn was able to withstand the competition. One of the reasons of this success was the station’s drive to be always up-to-date with technological innovations. Since 1996 it was the first local radio station present on the Internet. The process of production digitalisation in Radio Olsztyn had been introduced in 1993 and had lasted for several years.

Konsbud Audio has participated in modernisation of the station’s broadcasting complexes and switching rooms. The upgrading process was divided into two stages. In 2013 we modernized a part of the switching room and upgraded it with a sound network feature. We installed DHD RX mixer in the RS2 broadcasting unit. A year later we enhanced the routing system and equipped three broadcasting complexes with DHD mixers.
