Senate of RP
The Debating Chamber of the Senate of the Republic of Poland, well-known from TV reports, has the area of around 220 square metres. Architects gave it a more oval shape by using arches in the ceiling, and mirrors that optically enlarge the hall.
Our company was asked for consultation on the improvement of sound quality in the Debating Chamber of the Senate. As a result of the analyses, Konsbud Audio implemented significant improvements to the existing system. All analogue elements were replaced with Biamp DSP processors. The microphones of the Speaker and on the rostrum had to be exchanged to improve the sound quality. We equipped the table of the Speaker with a specifically designed lectern with two-colour LED indication. The DSP ensures sound amplification, processing and sending signal to loudspeaker lines in the Debating Chamber but it may also send audio signal to the broadcast studio. In the broadcast studio we installed expander converting digital signals to analogue.
