Polish Television Branch in Kraków

The regional branch of the Polish Television (TVP) covers the entire małopolskie Province. The branch was established in 1961. Its flagship production is a news programme called “Kronika” (Chronicle), which has been broadcasted since 1961 until today. Nowadays, the Television broadcasts in total several tens of programmes on a local and national channel. At the beginning of the 1990s the studio intended for artistic shows was created in Łęg within the TVP Kraków. It is one of the largest studios of this type in Poland where large shows with the audience are staged. Since 2011, TVP Kraków has been broadcasting in 16:9 format.
Konsbud Audio installed in TVP Kraków a Crescendo mixing console of Stagetec, the renowned German company, as well as a Nexus digital sound network. The network comprises the Nexus Star central unit and network terminals. The studio is equipped with digital and analogue audio interfaces.
