The CBOS Public Opinion Research Center is a prestigious institute involved in conducting public opinion research among the Poles. The research topics are various but focused mainly on social, political and economic issues. The center was established in 1982 and since the beginning of 1990s. has been conducting regular research on representative groups. Because of its exceptional profile of operations, CBOS is supported by the Polish authorities. It has the status of an independent foundation and conducts research intended for public use. The operations and work quality of the Centre are supervised by the CBOS Council.

The Centre houses a research room and a listening room which are used for conducting research with respondents. Konsbud Audio delivered Audio-Technica ceiling microphones to the research room and the listening room was equipped with ceiling loudspeakers with Apart power terminal, Biamp sound processor as well as Samsung recorder. In the research room a camera is installed enabling to record the sound and image of respondents’ answers. Another useful function in the listening room is the possibility to control the processor via the computer application.
