The Stanisław Staszic AGH University of Science and Technology in Cracow is among the best technical universities in Poland. In the very centre of the University student campus there is a recording studio called Kotłownia (Boiler Room). The area of the studio is sufficient for rehearsals and recordings even by instrumental and singing ensembles of many persons. The studio is also involved in recording concerts held in the Studio Club located next to it.

Konsbud Audio was responsible for equipping the recording studio with a sound recording system plus main and auxiliary reference monitors, together with installation and training. We delivered Avid Pro Tools|HDX digital recording and editing system – believed to be the standard throughout the world – installed on the state-of-the-art Apple MacPro computer, with dedicated processors and pre-amplifiers and 24-channel steering controller. All hardware components and software were designed by the same company, Avid, ensuring their maximum integration, highest efficiency and error-free operation. The feedback system in the control room includes also Genelec 1034 world-class reference monitors. The auxiliary reference system of 8250 Genelec monitors is also installed in the studio.
