The Philharmonic Hall is a remarkably futuristic building with an instantly eye-catching structural design. The ice-like building structure, which may be illuminated with multiple colour light sources, has become a new iconic city landmark. Numerous prizes and awards attest to the unique architecture of the building. The Szczecin Philharmonic most recently won the 2014 Eurobuild Awards contest – a prestigious European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture – Mies van der Rohe Award and the 2014 Bryła Roku (TN: en. Body of the Year 2014). The splendid interiors of the Szczecin Philharmonic include two concert halls distinguished by excellent acoustics. The symphonic hall has been labelled the Sun Hall due to its interior colour scheme, whereas the chamber hall is referred to as the Moon Hall.

Konsbud Audio delivered and integrated a complex electro-acoustic and audiovisual system comprising:

• sound reinforcement system • stage manager system with public address,
• audio console system intercom and video installation
• wireless microphone system • ClickShare CSM-1 wireless presentation system

Even sound coverage in both concert halls is provided by compact d&b audiotechnik T10 loudspeaker sets working in line array configuration and supported by J-SUB subwoofers. Five mixing consoles installed in two concert halls are integrated within a single network. The result is a flawless sound distribution between both chambers.
